Counselling provides the opportunity to talk to another person about anything in absolute confidence. Counselling can be helpful in many situations, whether you are suffering from a loss of confidence or low mood, or if you have experienced a trauma or loss in life. Many people seek counselling to develop a better understanding of themselves, which can sometimes be difficult in our ever increasingly busy lives. I aim to provide an empathic and understanding relationship in which we can work together to explore what is happening for you, what you may be finding difficult or what you wish to achieve. This may help to resolve what it is you have struggled with and provide you with a better quality of life. I hold a diploma in therapeutic counselling and I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), and have over eight years of experience in the field of counselling. I provide counselling primarily though Transactional Analysis which helps us understand how we have developed into the people we are, how we interact with those in our lives, and how these relationships can be enriched and changed for the better.
